The Materials 2018 exhibition hall is set to be bigger and better than ever. With opportunities available that are suited to all sizes of business, visitors can expect to meet with innovators representing exhibitors from a vast spectrum of building materials companies.
For a first show Materials 2017 was brilliant, there were plenty of high calibre visitors, and we generated a lot of quality enquiries for my products and services. Of which, have already led to business in the region of £10,000. The organisation of the show was exceptional, the variation of stands and seminars were also very good. I even managed to get a free pod cast, which I can now use for my website. I would definitely recommend other exhibitors for Materials 2018!
DIRECTOR, CKL BUILD GROUP LTD
On behalf of ICF Supplies / Nudura I just wanted to thank you and your team for organising a fantastic event with some very high calibre visitors. We are currently following up several quality leads and were very pleased with the interest and response that we had at and since the event.
SALES DIRECTOR, ICF SUPPLIES LTD
Materials 2017 was a great success for me. My Material Colour exhibition was very well received with a lot of enquiries and interaction with visitors and other exhibitors. Materials 2017 provided me with contacts from within the trade for material technologies and processes and access to some expert advice and fascinating suggestions for future developments. Participating in the talks and presentation programme brought me other contacts, mainly from visitors to the show.
ARTIST & MAKER, MATERIAL COLOUR
I think it’s been very interesting, a good footfall of people coming through from varied backgrounds - it’s been very successful and a lot of interest.
SPECIFICATION MANAGER, ROCKFON
It’s been good - we’ve spoken with good architects and specifiers and getting to know their requirements on their sites.
DIRECTOR, QUBE RESIN
We would like to thank all of the Materials team for a fantastic two days at the ILEC where we met a wide range of architects, developers, students and potential future clients from all over the UK. We were able to educate a large number of people about the benefits of using precast concrete stairs over traditional methods and explain how a Kallisto staircase could transform their luxury home or project. We look forward to seeing what Materials will bring next year.
MARKETING, MILBANK CONCRETE PRODUCTS
Materials 2017 was the first step back into exhibitions after 10 years of not doing them as this show felt different and more specialist. I brought along many samples and the great thing about this exhibition for me is that the people can touch and feel the products. It has worked very well indeed.
SCIN is a materials library and we always like to promote our new materials so having a trade show dedicated to materials was an exciting idea for us and didn’t want to miss out on being part of it. We connected with a good number of suppliers and specifiers to our innovative materials displayed at the show.

MATERIALS 2017 EXHIBITION
A varied selection of forward-thinking companies – ranging from huge multinational manufacturers to smaller domestic suppliers – participated in the exhibition at Materials 2017.
A wide range of products – from ceramics, stone, brick, and timber to glass, concrete, metal, and smart materials – were showcased, looking not only at their use in creating striking designs but also at alternative functionalities beyond their common purposes within building structures, envelope, façades and finishes.
